I started my own meditation practice around 5 years ago as an aid to help relieve some of the symptoms of PTSD - which included flashbacks, anxiety, stress and emotional numbing. Having experienced the huge benefits and positive impact that it has had on my own life, not just on a personal level but in my businesses as well, I decided to re-train as a meditation teacher. It was important to me that I sought a well-established school to train with and one that had an outside recognised qualification. This led me to The British School of Meditation in Cheltenham and after gaining a distinction in my diploma, I decided to set up ‘First Step’ as a result.
As I have successfully used meditation to help change my mind-set on many topics, I am passionate about spreading the message of how you can too. I have devised my own unique meditations and programmes which derive from a Heart-Mind coherence technique.
I believe that using this meditation as a daily practice has the power to turn around any area of your life. I have had the privilege to work with people in many different settings including students and teachers in schools, adults in group settings and both children and adults with diagnosed neurological conditions such as ADHD with positive results and feedback.
My aim is that I can use my knowledge and experience to help others. Take the ‘First Step.’
